From Paris direct trains to Lyon, St Jean de Maurienne. Other possibilities are Chambery, Lyon or Aix les Bains with one change. Once at the train station you can get a cab to the Toussuire, Chalet La Comborciere or a coach which drops you off at the Tourist Office at La Toussuire. The number for a cab is 0479567309. From the Office of Tourism, call the Princess at Comborciere who will come to pick you up in her 4x4

By car: Autoroute (motorway) A43, exit No 27 St Jean de Maurienne and from there follow the signs for the Vallee de L’Arvan (road D78 )

By plane: Chambery then either taxi or train and coach (to book a coach ticket: http://booking.les-sybelles.com/index_uk.asp) or rent a car at the airport. Lyon and train or rent a car at the airport. Grenoble and/or Geneva and rent a car at the airport.
