Portrait of a Princess

Florence of Comborciere was born on 3rd January 1964. brought up in a family which gave birth to ski champions, the Augert family, she is herself European champion of special slalom but her favourite discipline is downhill skiing.

Of her difficult childhood a film was made, « Born of absence » . She is self taught but has a diploma in fine arts.

Scared of homophobia, she sets up in Paris where she is responsible for customer services with the Figaro newspaper then she becomes marketing Director of Oce France and ends her managing career as Director of development for the Galleries Lafayette.

Fed up with Paris and 'Parisianism' after living there for 16 years, she goes around the world for 8 months. She discovers Singapore, Melbourne, Auckland, French Polynesia, San Francisco, Los Angeles. Upon her return in 1999, she is convinced that homosexuality must be decentralised. She lays a crazy bet:
